Meet our Board
Anna De Sousa
The National Archives (UK)
Anna is a Senior Digital Archivist at the National Archives, UK & leads the digital archivists in their work preserving the Public Record of the UK Government. The move to Archives was a career change that started with an MA in Archives & Records Management from UCL and led to work in both the British Library and TNA, where she has worked since 2015.


Yannick Grandcolas
Bibliothèque nationale de France
Yannick is a curator, graduate of the École nationale supérieure des sciences de l’information and holds an MA in Social Sciences. He’s in charge of coordinating the digital preservation at the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF) since 2019. Working daily with the IT department, he aims to bring consistency in the digital preservation practices, to address the needs of the whole Library.
Micky Lindlar
Technische Informationsbibliothek (Germany)
Micky is Digital Preservation Team Lead and Technical Analyst at TIB Leibniz Information Center for Science and Technology. They have been involved in digital preservation since 2009 and haven’t regretted the career choice so far. Micky’s main interests include file formats and (community driven) risk analysis.


Max Kaiser
Österreichische Nationalbibliothek (Austria)
Max is Head of Research and Development at the Austrian National Library (ONB). He holds an MA in Philosophy and German Literature from the University of Vienna and has been working for the Austrian National Library since 2000.
Peter May
British Library
Peter is the Digital Preservation Technical Architect at the British Library, where he leads a team of analysts in improving the Library’s digital preservation capabilities through evidence based practices, enhancing preservation software, and exploring new technologies.


Paul Stokes
Jisc (UK)
Paul is a senior co-design manager working for Jisc. He holds a Masters in Technology for Teaching and learning, a BSc in Electronics with Computing Science and is a member of the British Computing Society.
Jeffrey van der Hoeven
Koninklijke Bibliotheek (Netherlands)
Jeffrey is head of Digital Preservation at the National Library of the Netherlands (KBNL). He holds an MSc in Computer Engineering. He has been involved in digital preservation since 2003 on various topics such as emulation, storage infrastructures and the Dutch archiving solution e-Depot.


Remco van Veenendaal
Nationaal Archief (Netherlands)
Remco is Preservation Officer at the National Archives of the Netherlands. He holds an MA in Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing and has more than 15 years of experience in working on the intersections of language, data, archives and technology, and business, education, science and government.
