E-ARK / eArchiving Building Block – also for us in Germany?
25th Apr 2019 : 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Are the E-ARK information packages from the eArchiving Building Block suitable for German archiving institutions – also in terms of eIDAS and ETSI?
As part of the EU project E-ARK and from 2018 E-ARK4ALL, specifications for OAIS-compliant information packages were developed. These are freely available for everyone. The purpose of the workshop is to first provide information on the genesis, content, use cases as well as possible synergies with the European ETSI standards for safekeeping services created on the basis of the eIDAS Regulation. A detailed podium discussion will then address the question of how archiving institutions in Germany can use these specifications for their work.
This half-day workshop will take place at the Bundesstiftung zur Aufarbeitung der SED-Diktatur, Berlin on 25 April 2019.
