jpylyzer 2.2 out now

jpylyzer-logo

The first stable release of jpylyzer 2.2 is now available. This follows up on last November’s release candidate. Compared to the previous 2.1 release, Jpylyzer 2.2 is quite action-packed, and includes the addition of two new supported file formats!

Jpylyzer is an open source validator and feature extractor for JP2 images, and part of the OPF reference toolset

The main changes of this release are all relative to the 2.1 release, and include support for High Throughput JPEG 2000 (HTJ2K) and its associated JPH file format. There are also additional codestream markers, reporting of warnings to output file, and reporting and validation of rsiz property.

There have been many more changes and additions to this release. Take a look at the release notes for further details. The download is available on the right of this page.

Feedback welcome

We invite you to download and test the release candidate. If you experience a problem please report it on the jpylyzer issue tracker on GitHub or contact us

We will continue internal testing of the release candidate and there may be a few small changes before the public production release.

Our thanks go to all contributors for their ongoing input and feedback.
