Vacancy for a Digital Preservation Officer at the Koninklijke Bibliotheek

OPF member, the Koninklijke Bibliotheek (KB), is looking for a digital preservation officer for the permanent storage of digital collections. The job holder will be part of the Collection Conservation Department, which is responsible for the management and conservation of all KB collections, digitally and physically.

About the role
You are responsible for long-term storage and management of our national digital collections so that they remain available for future generations. You will advise on the development and implementation of policies, storage strategies and procedures for permanent storage. You will advocate the importance of digital preservation within and outside the organization, through knowledge (knowledge sessions and presentations) and by writing guidelines for the management and preservation of digital collections. You play a role in the (inter) national network of digital preservation.

Please note the job holder must speak fluent Dutch.
