What is the Comms Clinic?
Our comms clinic is a new member-only benefit offering the Foundation’s members the opportunity to book one-to-one online sessions to discuss communications, marketing campaigns, or project networking with Georgia, our Community Officer and Helena, our Marketing Officer. The sessions can include:
- Practising your presentations prior to conferences or meetings;
- have a second pair of eyes on a paper;
- support when translating something into English;
- An informal chat to discuss special interest group ideas, networking opportunities, or marketing plans.
When and where?
The comms clinic will usually take place every other month on the second Friday bi-monthly after 11:00 CET. We will use Google Meet for the sessions. Let us know when you fill out the form what you would like us to do, and the possible time demand and we will adjust accordingly.
How can I book?
We will post reminders to the members-only mailing list when the slots for the coming month are coming up and available. There is a short online request form to fill in via the email. Slots are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Can I still ask for help at other times?
Yes, our members are always welcome to contact us for help at any time. We are only a small team but we do our best to respond as soon as we can. The tech clinic ensures there is dedicated time set aside each month to address members’ questions in more depth.
