Membership levels
Membership is open to all types and sizes of organisation. We offer four different membership options, each one providing varying levels of support and different opportunities to get involved. Gold
£10,000 per annum
Recommended level of membership for organisations with an annual operating budget of >£50m or consortia.
Silver
£5,000 per annum
Recommended level of membership for organisations with an annual operating budget of £10m – £50m.
Bronze
£2,500 per annum
Recommended level of membership for organisations with an annual operating budget of <£10m.
Technical contributors
Our technical contributor members help support our work, providing time and resources in lieu of a membership fee. This can be providing development effort for our reference toolset, supporting our product board, or delivering OPF webinars and workshops on open source tools that are used by our members.
Membership discounts
We offer a discount for multi-year membership applications: 5% discount for a two-year commitment and a 10% discount for a three-year+ commitment.
How to apply
For all types of membership, please download and complete our membership application form below.
All membership applications are reviewed by our board at their monthly meeting and are put to a vote for approval.
Once your application has been reviewed and approved, we will contact you to confirm your membership and will provide access to our members area where you can find out how to make the most of your membership, along with your invoice.
Memberships run for 12 months from the date your application is approved. We will contact you a few weeks before your membership is due for renewal.
