Overview

There are hundreds of digital curation tools available: for example, the Community Owned Digital Preservation Tool Registry (COPTR) currently list 593 tools in their registry. However little is known about how users discover, learn and select tools to integrate into their digital preservation practice. In this webinar, I will discuss a survey I conducted with graduate students at University College Dublin in which we asked users to report how they discover digital curation tools. I will also discuss my approach to teaching students how to use tools in the classroom.
