We are thrilled to give you a sneak peek at an exciting new chapter for the Open Preservation Foundation! After a thoughtful and thorough search, we have selected a new Executive Director who will lead us in our mission to sustain open source tools and knowledge and reliable solutions to the sector’s challenges.
Our new Executive Director brings a wealth of experience in the field and a deep commitment to working with our Board and members to execute our new strategy.
They have a proven record in executive leadership for nonprofits and a strong understanding of open-source software development and community-driven initiatives. They are uniquely equipped to guide our organisation into a new era of collaboration.
Stay tuned for more details on opportunities to meet and engage with them directly. We look forward to this exciting new phase and the meaningful work we will accomplish together.
We would like to take a moment to thank Julie Allen, our Executive Director since late 2021, for all her efforts and achievements. Julie will continue with us for a warm handover and engagement with external projects.
