Practical Tools for Digital Preservation: A Hackathon York DPC Offices 27 September – 29 September
The Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) and the OPF are co-hosting a hackathon which aims to bring together digital preservation practitioners, collection curators and technical experts to present problematic digital collections, articulate requirements for their assessment, and then apply tools to automate the detection and identification of the content issues. It builds on the success of the AQuA project (http://wiki.opf-labs.org/display/AQuA/Home).
