The first release candidate for JHOVE v1.30.0 is now available for testing!
JHOVE is an open-source file format identification, validation and characterisation tool for digital preservation and part of the OPF reference toolset.
Major new features of this release include:
- Empty properties causing extra indents in XmlHandler
- Re-implement javax.xml.bind.DatatypeConverter.printHexBinary(byte[])
- provide some German messages
- replace javax.json with jakarta.jso
There are also some small bug fixes and improvement to the PDF, WAVE, XML, and modules, as well as to the GUI.
