The Open Preservation Foundation (OPF) is pleased to welcome Kommunalförbundet Sydarkivera as our newest member.
Kommunalförbundet Sydarkivera is a local federation of 33 municipalities in Sweden. Its mission is to perform archiving assignments, manage a joint archive system, and act as a common archive authority for its members. Sydarkivera has a dedicated team with a broad range of skills, from archiving databases and websites to information security. They have contributed to several national projects in Sweden, including the Swedish common specifications and the E-ARK3 project supporting the eArchiving Building Block, for which they manage a preservation platform.

As the preservation agency for our members, we have a goal to be active in the community to ensure we serve as the best provider of digital preservation. We are keen to extend and deepen our collaboration with preservation initiatives in Europe and beyond. OPF membership will broaden our capability to learn from the best in the preservation community.”
