The OPF NL

Our offices are in Greenock, Scotland, UK and Den Haag, The Netherlands.

The Open Preservation Foundation Netherlands (OPF NL) is a localised subsidiary of the Open Preservation Foundation (OPF). It focuses on digital preservation initiatives within the Netherlands, encouraging closer collaboration with our European institutions, libraries, archives, and other relevant organisations. It was founded following Brexit in January 2020.

With OPF NL we foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the development of best practices in digital preservation within a specific geographic region, following the broader goals and initiatives of the international OPF.

The mailing address for the OPF NL is The Open Preservation Foundation, Koninklijke Bibliotheek, PO Box 90407, 2509 LK The Hague, The Netherlands.
