The fourth set of eArchiving specifications and guidelines have been released by the Digital Information LifeCycle Interoperability Standards Board (DILCIS Board) for community feedback.
Originally created by the E-ARK project, these specifications are a core component of the CEF eArchiving Building Block. The aim of eArchiving is to provide the core specifications, software, training and knowledge to help data creators, software developers and digital archives tackle the challenge of short, medium and long-term data management and reuse in a sustainable, authentic, cost-efficient, manageable and interoperable way.
Over 2020-2021, four groups of specifications and documents have been published for review by the community. The final group of documents available for review are:
- Content Information Type Specification for eHealth2
- Guideline for Content Information Type Specification for eHealth 2
- White paper on the E-ARK AIP
How do I provide feedback?
Please provide feedback through the DILCIS Board website review page. All of the specifications, procedures and guidelines are listed, with a short description, a link to the full document, and a set of questions to answer.
The review will close on 18 July 2021.
There is still time to provide feedback on the third group of guidelines. The deadline is 16 May 2021.
