Two Job Vacancies at TIB Leibniz, Information Centre for Science and Technology (Hannover, Germany), on a Digital Preservation Project

OPF member TIB Leibniz,  currently has two job vacancies available, to work on a digital preservation project.

The EU-funded eosc EDEN project aims to develop a framework based on data usage, value and quality that enables the identification of digital objects suitable for long-term preservation. In addition to a model for reassessment points along the data lifecycle, the project will develop and test prototype services and tools for the curation and long-term archiving of research data from various disciplines. As part of the project, the TIB is leading the work package “Data and process framework for long-term digital preservation”. The project will kick off January 1st 2025 and run for 36 months.

To support this work, TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology is currently looking to fill two project employee positions (full-time, fixed-term for duration of project, pay scale TV-L 13:

The successful candidates will work embedded into TIB’s digital preservation team. Mobile working options are available.
